Commercial Financing Disclosures Debated in California

A California state senator wants mandatory APR disclosures on loan and non-loan contracts. The bill, SB-1235, that was introduced by Senator Steve Glazer, is aimed at commercial financing transactions. Several trade associations oppose the bill and representatives from the Small Business Finance Association and Commercial Finance Coalition testified in front of the Senate on April 18th to explain why.
